I love these kind of pep talks, stuff like faith and will leading to definite success, especially in team sports, it leaves such a great exit clause for the speaker – ‘well obvioulsy you guys didn’t have any real faith, your will was in fact conquerable and that’s why we didin’t win… get back to me when you’re a christian…”
